Full coverage of green building material certification promotes low-carbon development of broken bridge aluminum

With the deepening of the dual carbon strategy, the country vigorously promotes the development of the green building materials industry. The new version of the green building materials evaluation standard (T/CECS 10026-2025) will be officially implemented in February 2026, fully incorporating bridge insulation aluminum profiles into the scope of green building materials certification. Carbon footprint, proportion of recycled aluminum use, and thermal performance have become core evaluation indicators, indicating the direction for the industry's low-carbon transformation. The improvement of the green building materials certification system not only clarifies the green evaluation standards for bridge insulation aluminum profiles, but also achieves deep linkage with government procurement, policy subsidies, and green building certification, bringing new development opportunities for high-quality compliant enterprises.
According to the "Opinions on Accelerating the Establishment of a Product Carbon Footprint Management System" issued by the National Development and Reform Commission and other departments, China will accelerate the establishment of a product carbon footprint management system, promote the formulation of carbon footprint accounting rules and standards for key products, and include the carbon footprint accounting and management of bridge insulation aluminum profiles as a key product in the construction field. The green building material certification requires that the production enterprises of bridge insulation aluminum profiles reduce carbon emissions during the production process, encourage the increase of the proportion of recycled aluminum application, and in some regions, require the proportion of recycled aluminum use to be no less than 30%. At the same time, optimize production processes to reduce energy consumption and pollutant emissions. In addition, the certification also focuses on assessing the thermal performance, durability, environmental friendliness and other indicators of the profiles, ensuring that the products meet both energy-saving requirements and the concept of green and low-carbon development.
Starting from January 1, 2025, the government will implement policies in 101 cities (districts) to support the promotion of green building materials and improve building quality through government procurement. It is explicitly required that government procurement projects prioritize the use of bridge insulation aluminum profiles that have obtained green building material certification. Green building material suppliers must provide proof of compliance with demand standards when supplying, including green building material product certification certificates or valid testing reports. At the same time, many regions have introduced green building material subsidy policies, and projects that use standard broken bridge aluminum system windows can enjoy up to 20% funding subsidies. Key projects such as affordable housing and green building projects also require priority procurement of certified and compliant products. The implementation of this series of policies will accelerate the industry towards low-carbon, environmentally friendly, and high-quality development. High quality enterprises will take the initiative in market competition and achieve high-quality development with their technological and certification advantages.
